I created 4 cards with the same set of materials. The flower is stunning Begonia set from Build-a-Flower series by Altenew. Pink and green inks are from Spring Bouquet set. Outlines and sentiments are done with great Obsidian Pigment ink. In addition I used Gold String Washi Tape.
Gold String Washi Tape.
Card 1 — Classic layered stamping
When I first opened Build-a-Flower: Begonia by Altenew I started by stamping images layer by layer and used coordinating dies to cut them out. After that I arranged them on a card.
Card 2 — Background variation
Next I decided to draw more attention to the background. I stamped the contour of begonia flower with Baby Pink ink directly on the white card front. And pink vertical stripe was created with ink smooshing technique (the other half of the original piece went to Card 1).
Card 3 — Simply diagonal
The 3rd card is even more simple. It has diagonal design. Lower part is covered with washi tape. The flower has contours and only one layer of stamping with ink. Then I just added some color spots.
Card 4 — Add more water
As contours provide great opportunity for coloring, I couldn’t miss it. I simply pressed ink pads on a craft sheet and used waterbrush to color the flower. Foam applicator helped me creating soft pink background from the corner. While the rest of the front looked empty I added ink spots and splashes.

I have got to get me some of these flowers and inks and try out these cards. I don’t have any of these designs and the more I look at the Altenew cards with the gorgeous flowers, the more I want to give it a try. I am new to stamping so I don’t have a lot of supplies yet but these flowers are gorgeous. Each of your cards are stunning!
Irina, all of your cards are so pretty. Number 2 is especially my favorite. I always like the negative of the main stamp. So just the pink outline on the white card, then the cut-out of the flower colored pink, is so so pretty to me.
These are so pretty! Love these beautiful blooms and the colors you used!
